Many people have intestinal problems, insomnia, lack of energy, lack of power and no desire or focus to complete things. Especially now, during Covid-19 we spend a lot of time at home and we hardly get outside. The only moves we make is from chair to couch and back to the coffee machine in the kitchen. You can recharge yourself by eating a little more power food and to workout a little bit or to go for a walk. And I’m not talking about running a marathon, but just enjoying an hour of cycling or walking a day. By exercising, you produce our lucky substance serotonin in your body. Walking is therefore not only good for your body but also for your brain, it makes you happy and it is also good for your sleep. During the walk, take a banana (it also contains serotonin) and a thermos with delicious fresh ginger tea to replenish your moisture. Ginger is good for your intestinal flora and therefore for your resistance. Especially now we can make good use of that resistance and the only one who can build up and take care of this is yourself! Take care of yourself and let your food be your medicine.
ORTHOMOLECULAR FOODTIPS FOR YOU

In short, orthomolecular nutrition is: “the right nutrition to keep your body fit and healthy”. You can easily adjust all your eating habits by, for example: eating unprocessed food, so cooking it yourself or picking up fresh meals (no prepackaged processed ones) if you don’t feel like or have time to make something. Leave as many sugars as possible and drink a maximum of 3 coffee per day. Eat a lot of vegetables and fruit, preferably 500 grams per day per person, this seems a lot, but if you eat 2 pieces of fruit and drink a homemade soup in the afternoon, it goes very quickly. Oh yes and eat your fruit instead of drinking, a fruit juice is worse for your blood sugar. A good fatty acid balance is also important so eat lots of unsaturated fats such as avocados, lots of nuts, seeds, oily fish and leave the cookies, pastries, margarine in the cupboard for a while. Drinking water and herbal teas are great for our body throughout the day, but limit as many eating moments and snacks as possible, which can also be tasty and healthy (carrots, snack tomatoes, cucumbers).
